These Kingdom players have been chosen to represent Michigan at the regional Olympic Development program (ODP) training camp this summer. From right to left are Kareem Yamani from Portage (1995 age group), Kalvis Melbardis from Kalamazoo (1995 age group), Brock Roelofs from Portage (1994 age group) and Brandon Bye from Portage (1995 age group). Not pictured is Tyler Stender, from Plainwell, who was named 1st alternate for the 1995 age group.

These young Kingdom Reserve players tried out for the ODP program in August of 2007. At the end of the weekend players were chosen to join the ODP winter training pool.
The winter training session consisted of two weekends of training in Pontiac, MI and players were then chosen from the winter training pool to be part of the State of Michigan team for their respective age groups. The teams will be traveling to the Regional Camp in Rockford, IL in July 2008. The players will be playing against best players in the region, which includes 13 Midwest states. The players may then be chosen to participate in the National player camp. Congratulations to these young Kingdom Reserves players and good luck to them at Regionals!
